About
A Nanny Share has the same responsibilities as a daily nanny. This means it can be a similar, but more economical childcare option.
Hours
Usually a 10 hour day, generally from Monday to Friday 8am-6.30pm. This can include occasional babysitting agreed in advance.
Rate of Pay
The hourly rate depends on experience. You can expect to pay an experienced nanny between £10-14 per hour (Net).

Nanny sharing is an arrangement where a nanny is employed by two families to care for their children. This setup offers flexibility and can work in various ways.
How Nanny Sharing Works
In a nanny share, two families can share the nanny all the time. Alternatively, the nanny can split her time between the two families. This flexibility allows for a customized arrangement that suits both families’ needs.

NURSERY DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:
Children’s laundry – washing, ironing etc…
General tidiness of the children’s rooms and other rooms used by children and nanny.
Keeping the toys in a safe and hygienic condition.
Dressing and bathing the children.
Preparing well balanced and nutritious meals.
Escorting the children to and from school, nursery or playgroup.
Adhering to the family’s schedule to maintain household order.
Assisting with homework.
Working with the parent to develop and implement discipline programs to promote positive behaviour.
Communicating with parents regarding all details of children’s care.
