A Daily Nanny will work in your home each day, providing a familiar and secure environment with sole charge care of the children, on a schedule to suit you.

Hours

Usually a 10-hour day, generally from Monday to Friday 8 am-6.30 pm (with occasional babysitting agreed in advance).

Rate of Pay

The hourly rate depends on experience. You can expect to pay an experienced nanny between £10-14 per hour (Net).

NURSERY DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

Children’s laundry – washing, ironing etc…

General tidiness of the children’s rooms and other rooms used by children and nanny.

Keeping the toys in a safe and hygienic condition.

Dressing and bathing the children.

Preparing well balanced and nutritious meals.

Escorting the children to and from school, nursery or playgroup.

Adhering to the family’s schedule to maintain household order.

Assisting with homework.

Working with the parent to develop and implement discipline programs to promote positive behaviour.

Communicating with parents regarding all details of children’s care.

The above responsibilities are a basic guide and many of our nannies will go above and beyond these duties. It’s important to be clear about your family’s needs and ensure that this is discussed prior to your nanny starting, including such things as additional babysitting or perhaps a rare overnight stay.
